School Mission

  • What is the objective of Sadiq School?

    The mission of Sadiq School is to provide students with the skills and knowledge in an Islamic environment that they will need to succeed in their lives and become active participants in their communities. A core tenet for Sadiq School is to form a powerful relationship between the students, parents, and their teachers and empower our youth with the necessary religious and academic education to reach their highest potential. Sadiq School will aim to graduate young men & women who can think critically and creatively, have acquired an excellent academic foundation, and have a deep understanding of their Creator, the Quran, and the Ahlul-Bayt.

School Curriculum

  • What grade level education is provided at Sadiq School?

    Sadiq school will offer Preschool to 8th grade in the coming years. For the academic year 2020-2021 we are offering Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten.

  • How does Sadiq School ensure academic excellence?

    At Sadiq school there will be an excellent team work of administration, staff, students and parents. Administrative team constantly develop strategic plans to serve the mission of the school. The team will communicate with parents to keep them up to date through interactive website, social media connections, emails, and newsletters.

    The curriculum of Sadiq School will be a dynamic document which will be continually evaluated and refined to ensure that students are challenged at appropriate academic and developmental levels. The goal of Sadiq school is to be recognized as a “Blue Ribbon School” in the State of NJ and compete with the best schools in the surrounding communities.

    There will be guidance counselor who will work actively to address student socio-emotional health and academic progress and to foster school Islamic and successful academic culture.

    Sadiq School will have hard-working and dedicated certified/skilled teachers and staff to work towards success of each student. Students will be motivated to participate and do their best in an enabling and caring environment of Sadiq school.

    Parents will be encouraged to take an active part in their child(ren)’s educational life. Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) will meet throughout the year and they organize events and create activities to nurture students. to support student achievement. Teachers communicate high expectations.

  • Are the credits earned at Sadiq School transferable to other US schools?

    The curriculum of the school adheres to the academic standards set by the New Jersey State Board of Education and will be transferable.

  • What are the Islamic/Quran classes that students need to take? How will Sadiq School provide Islamic education?

    The Sadiq School curriculum, in addition to covering the subjects required by the New Jersey Board of Education, will include classes on Islamic studies (history, morals and ethics) as well as reading, reciting, and understanding of the holy Quran.

    Sadiq School is dedicated to the holistic education of each student, and considers both a secular and Islamic education as vital components to a student life-long learning. The Islamic classes will include, Aqaid (belief), Ethics, Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence / Laws and Islamic history). Qur’anic studies will include learning to read Qur’an in Arabic as well as understand the meaning of Qur’an.

  • What makes the Sadiq School curriculum different?

    Sadiq School curriculum is designed to meet or exceed New jersey Core Curriculum (NJCC) and Islamic education standards.

    Our curriculum is continually evaluated and refined by teachers working with the administration and each other to ensure our students are challenged, appropriately developed and excel academically. Our curricula are broad outlines of what students need to know and be able to do each year. In addition to secular education, we provide Islamic education which its content is supervised by our resident Alim. We collaborate with other schools will provide students with the skills and knowledge to have a deep understanding of their religious beliefs, including their Creator, the Quran, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Ahlul-Bayt

  • Will Sadiq School have a uniform?

    Sadiq school will have uniform mandatory for grades 2 and up. For lower grades uniform is recommended but not mandatory. For more about uniform please see “uniform” under

  • What qualifications will staff have at the Sadiq School?

    Staff will be skilled/certified in the areas of their subject matter they teach. Staff will follow school guidelines.

  • Will Sadiq School take part in NJ standardized testing?

    Sadiq school will participate in tests that measure students’ critical thinking skills in the major content areas specified by New Jersey Board of Education standards in math and language arts literacy, which includes reading, writing, speaking, listening, and viewing.

  • Do you offer financial aid or discounts for parents with more than one child registered in the school?

    Yes, there will be needs based financial assistance and discounts opportunity.

  • Will there be a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and what role will they play at Sadiq School?

    There will be a Parent Teachers Organization (PTO) at Sadiq School and the PTO will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the school.

  • What are the transportation options available to students?

    Transportation options are being evaluated and considered to be provided for the 2020-2021 academic year based on how many early registration we get and pick up locations. If you require transportation as a requirement, please indicate transportation requirements as your pre-register.

  • Will lunch, food and snacks be provided to students at the school?

    At this time parents provide snack and lunch for their own children. When we move to the new building which has a cafeteria, we will explore options to serve food to students, inshallah.

  • How can I volunteer with my child’s school?

    We have an active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and through this organization parents can volunteer.

  • Does an Islamic school isolate children from broader participation in the surrounding community?

    Like any other private or parochial school, the aim will be to ensure appropriate assimilation into society at large. There are multiple avenues for community participation – one such avenue can be through extracurricular activities/sports, participation in academic meetings/fairs/competitions etc.
